Merve Morkoç (b. 1986, Turkey) is a multidisciplinary artist. Her practice
investigates the reciprocal relationships between body, space, and material.
Working across performance, sculpture, and installation, she uses the body as a
site of inquiry through which social, political, and material conditions can be
experienced, negotiated, and reimagined. Her work explores the memory of
materials, embodied knowledge, and the ways in which everyday experience is
shaped by larger structures. She approaches performance not merely as a mode of
expression, but as a methodology for inquiry and the generation of knowledge.
